Branson Had a Birthday!

nearly a month ago... I have been so bad at blogging. I thought I would have more time now I don't have to worry about yard work but between couponing, kindergarten & homework & volunteering, and running joy school I just haven't found that extra time.

Branson turned 31 the middle of November.

I am seriously the luckiest girl in the world to be married to him. Branson is a fantastic husband always putting me first and supporting me in everything I do. He is also a wonderful Dad. He plays light sabers with the boys, dotes on his baby girl, and teaches his children to respect their mother.

He's been working hard as an attorney at Ayres Law Firm. He still love it, all the interesting cases he gets. He has also been working hard with his sports agency contacting lots of football players. He stays busy working out at the gym everyday and serving as the Executive Secretary helping out the Bishop.

On his birthday we started out with the traditional breakfast in bed, he chose to have omelets. I still made pancakes and ice cream for the kids because they think if it's a birthday we have to have it.

Brecken carrying in the presents.

Dad sharing his food with Miss Piggy.

Caden peeking from behind a bag.

Dad with all of his loot.
Then he headed off to work. After work I met him in Lehi for dinner at the Texas Roadhouse. We have been hearing good stuff about that restaurant and wanted to try it out. It was super fantastic- warm gooey rolls with cinnamon honey butter. They even gave us free ribs since it was our first time out. Then we enjoyed our Steaks and Potatoes. Branson got to ride in the "saddle" and they gave him a Texan "Yee Haw" since it was his b-day.

Then we came home and had some cheesecake with the kids. (thanks Audra for watching them for us!)

If we go there on my birthday, Eric is not allowed to mention it for the saddle part, either that or the one by South Town Mall they also have a HUGE cowboy hat (just a warning) LOL

Happy Happy Birthday Bud! We sure love you. thanks for always being such a great brother. I know this isn't the proper forum, but I just wanted you to know that I think about our lengthy chats back in junior/senior hs, and I miss those days. You were always fun to talk to, and share a different perspective. I'm glad we get to travel this road together pal. So, ya...happy birthday! Love you.

you are such a cute wife. And I think your pancake/icecream tradition is hilarious. Can you believe how old WE are getting??
