Easter Weekend

Easter Weekend was C*R*A*Z*Y this year, but so much fun. Friday morning was Caden's class' spring party, which I was in charge of. I was a little nervous but we had so many mom helpers that it went great. I let Brecken come and join in the fun too.

Here they are making bunny masks.

That evening was the school carnival that I volunteered for. They had it outside and it was a ton of fun with lots of games and prizes. It was so cold and windy we nearly froze to death! Then we hurried over to the church for our first High Priest social.

We got up bright and early Sat. morning (5:45am) to head up to Idaho for Grandpa Rex West's 80th birthday party. It's always fun getting together with the extended family. The kids ran around in a big pack and had a fantastic time.

Then our clan (Brans' parents and bros and sis) had our own Easter Egg Hunt. The kids were so excited we had a hard time holding them back until everything was ready. Here are all the cousins (exceptin' little baby Deakin).

Lana had a great time looking for eggs but it was really cold.

Most of the troops. I love how candid this shot is and that Moe & Ari are the only ones not looking at the camera.

It was fun having the hunt out in the country with lots of room.
