A Big Surprise for the kiddos (Trip to OR for Thanksgiving)

So, we bought the fam plane tickets to Oregon for thanksgiving because my brother Brant was also going to be there before getting deployed.  The military changed things so he wasn't able to go but we still were.

Brans and I decided to keep it a secret.  The kids thought we were going to Kaysville like every year.  We loaded them in the car early Mon morning and kept asking them where they thought we were going.  They finally guessed we were flying when we pulled up to the terminal.  This was to be there first time flying!  Their reaction was so funny.  They were totally nervous and said they didn't want to go on the plane.

After walking through the airport they got a little more excited.  I was flying alone with the 4 kids.  Brans was going to join us on Wed.  They did so good and Caden was the best helper, either pushing Torv in the stroller or lugging my bag.

A pilot saw us going through the terminal and gave all the kids wings to pin on their shirts.

Ready for lift off, Torv did fantastic.  I was still glad it was a short flight.

The turbulence made the boys a little nervous but Lana loved it.  She raised both hands in the air and said weeeeee, like she was on a roller coaster.

Caden sat across the aisle from me, such a big kid.

Having some fun at Nana & Grandpa's house.

They couldn't wait for cousins Makyra and Abigail to come.  They definitely had fun together.

Torv getting a horsie ride from Grandpa Steve.

And being his goofball self.

The game try to take down Uncle Dan never gets old.

And the kids won!
