I realize this is a little late but better late than never right? I've been just a little busy with my new baby. I don't quite have the several hours that just a few weeks ago I would spend playing on the 'puter every day.
We started our Easter celebrations on the Sat. before. We promised the boys an Easter egg hunt in the backyard but it rained all day. So, we hid the eggs in the house instead. They were soo excited. Caden is getting way too good at finding them now that he is 4 years old.
Brecken was good at finding the eggs too. It helped when Caden got his fill and stopped looking.
Here they are so happy with all the eggs they found.
Brecken unwrapped all his candy, took about one or none bites, and was done with it.
Easter morning was a fast Sunday. We were going to wait and have the Easter bunny come while we were at church but Brans forgot to fast anyway. So we had the boys go downstairs while the Easter bunny hid the baskets. This is one ecstatic Brecken after finding his basket in Lana's crib:
Brans found his way up high and wondered how the Easter bunny got it all the way up there.
Brans ecstatic about what the easter bunny brought him:
The bunny knows me so well it brought me flip flops, my fave.
I was really, REALLY hoping I would get a baby on Easter but it was a no go.
Brecken with all his opened and uneaten candy.
The boys playing with Lightning McQueen stickers.
This is Brecken's Easter Sunday lunch. I got it out for him then went to get dressed. When I got back I saw that normal yogurt wasn't going to cut it. He needed some jelly beans in it!
