Memorial Day was not quite what we were expecting this year. We went to spend the weekend with all of Branson's family up at the condo by Powder Mountain. When we drove up there was snow on the sides of the road but the road was all clear. We had fun watching movies and playing games. Monday morning we woke up to about three feet of fresh snow and it was still coming down hard. We were debating if we thought we could get down the mountain or not. While waiting to get plowed out we trekked down to the lodge for some swimming.

They told us the snowplows couldn't make it up to us because there was a mudslide in Ogden Canyon. So we called Branson's boss to let him know he couldn't work Tues. Caden was going to have to miss his Kindergarten Promotion but I was just happy to be safe.
A couple hours later the staff let us know the plows had made it, so we packed super quick and high tailed it out of there before the roads were covered in fresh snow.

I was pretty terrified about the drive down considering what happened to us last Thanksgiving but we had prayed about it and felt good about heading down. The roads were actually pretty good. We were excited when we got down the mountain and all the snow turned into rain!
