Summer Fun (i.e. June in a nutshell)

OK, so these first two pictures are actually from the end of May.
It was my birthday and Branson took me out to Rodizio's. Yum!
He also emailed me this fun picture. After dinner he took me clothes shopping. Awesome for me, torture for him. That's true love. Then we watched Thor which was surprisingly great.

The Pony Express Parade. I went with the kids while Branson was conducting a baptism. We just happened to find a bunch of our neighbors, fun.

One of the benefits, and sometimes hard part, of our callings is that we get to do things with the youth together. We had Youth Conference at the beginning of June and got to both attend. Our service project was cleaning out a stream at the stake camp.
Tough guys pulling a log out of the stream.

It was a really mucky, nasty job but we had so much fun doing it.
Enjoying s'mores after all the hard work.

Our Bishopric:
Hubby Bubby, Bishop Marshall, Bro. Gentile

We went to Caden's baseball practice one night not realizing it was canceled. So we played on the playground and ran around instead. I couldn't help getting some pictures of my blonde haired beauty running in the grass.

We switched from giving the boys quarters every night for doing their chores to a star system. This was after they had earned 30 stars and got to pick out some lightning McQueen cars for the reward. I love how Lana's wearing a snow hat- looks like the little girl in the movie Despicable Me.

We went to the Trafalga Orem for the first time with cuz Dillon.

Lana being a rockstar.

And riding a motorcycle.

One night we had this amazing sunset where the whole sky turned pink.

Playin' in the pool at Tasia's house.

We made Daddy this retro TV for Father's Day.

On the way home from church one Sunday Caden was asking Brecken what he learned in Primary and then making Brecken's mouth move to answer him.

Caden took swim lessons with his buddy James. They did so good. Lana enjoyed chillin' by the pool.

The boys learning to push off the wall. I think part of the reason they loved it so much was their cute little teacher.

Lana being the "Batman Girl".

Brecken did his own toy sale and was ecstatic he made a whole dollar!

Swimmin' time in the backyard.

Caden finished his second year of baseball.
This summer has been a fun whirlwind of activity. We haven't found time to be bored yet.
