Our Camping Trip to Palisades

We got home from YW Camp on a Friday and left for our family camp-out the following Monday.
We met all the fam up at Lake Palisades which is close to Yellowstone and Jackson Hole.
We quickly put up the hammocks and enjoyed them all week.

The boys were very good at keeping themselves amused.
Caden had a great time chasing Taylor.

Enjoying our first camp out in many years with out a little baby or being pregnant.

We were camping over the 24th of July, so we celebrated with our own fireworks.

Such a beautiful place, we spent most of our time on the lake.

Brecken was so brave "swimming" in the lake.

We found this awesome floating dock at the mouth of a river and the kids loved playing on it. Lana terrified us by running around and around as fast as she could.

Caden showing off his martial arts skills.

Amazing how many people we could get out on the tubes.
Caden, Jonny, Dillon, Leah, Brecken, Lana, and Branson

The kids were being tricksters.

Branson getting ready to surf behind the boat.

You start out holding onto the rope.

Once you are feeling more comfortable you can throw the rope in and then you are really out there surfing. Way to go hubby!

Playing at the dock, the kids loved jumping onto the tubes.

Grandpa and his boat.

The whole group (except Grandma who was taking the picture):
front: Lana, Ari, Brecken, Caden, and Dillon
back: Grandpa Karl, Morgan, Leah, Branson, Jonny, Brittany, Deakin, and Taylor

Brecken is holding a can of mosquito repellent. The mosquitoes were terrible this year. We managed to have a fabulous vacation in spite of them.

So much fun! Good grief, Brecky is so stinkin skinny. I'm glad that Caden is having such a good time in school. We sure love hanging out with you guys!
