Celebrating Star Wars Style

Caden decided to have a Star Wars Birthday Party this year. Such a fun theme. I went a little crazy with it since I have some extra time on my hands right now. We made it into a Jedi Training Academy and had each of the kids bring their own light saber.

We started it all of with a game of Pass the Asteroid.

Then it was on to lunch.

The kids seemed to enjoy it. Especially because it was all junk food and yummy. Tasia was our only girl so she was our Princess Leia. She even had the hairdo.

After lunch we took the kids out back for some real Jedi Training. Branson taught them the proper use of a light saber.

Then each Padowan got to test their new skills in a one on one battle against him.

Lana did not want to be left out of anything.

We had the kids go through the Jedi Training Course to practice their new skills with their light sabers.

After presents they wanted to try out some of the new toys.

An awesome pile of Jedi weaponry.

Next they were on to a scavenger hunt. Here they had just found the incoming transmissions receiving Center.

We ended the party with an award ceremony where we gave them a medal and dubbed them all full Jedi Masters.

Oh yeah, they found their goody bags at the end of the scavenger.

And finally, time for cake.

I think everyone had a good time.
Here is a copy of the scavenger hunt clues, I had Branson make it up for me.

2. You will find the next clue at the incoming transmissions receiving Center.

what an amazing party!! I still love seeing the table and swingset, it is so odd, but I am glad you are enjoying them. I love Branson being super dad and getting into it all, and your treats were amazing! If I ever have a little jedi, I will have to steal some of your ideas! Go Leah! Wish we could have been there!
