Camping in Colorado and seeing the Indian ruins on Mesa Verde was an amazing trip we took at the end of July.
I had to buy some new swim bottoms on the way there because I couldn't find my old ones. I held them up and said, "Look Brecken I got you a new swimsuit." To which he exclaimed, "Those aren't mine! They're Dads."
Torv was entertained with the Nintendo DS.
Southern Utah is amazing, this is just outside of Moab.
Torv was an extra HAPPY Camper. He was so excited to be out of the car.
Playing with Play dough while we set up camp.
Brecken enjoying some s'mores. But not the camera flash so much.
One of the coolest days of the trip was when we went to Mesa Verde to check out the Indian Ruins.
We even got to climb down into one of the rooms.
Lana and I "grinding corn".
These rooms were called Khivas and are believed to be where they had gatherings and religious meetings.
Taking a break.
At the visitor's center the kids filled out a packet and became Junior Park Rangers.
One of the amazing cliff dwellings.
Fun back at Camp!
A Hot Dog roast!
Taylor, Lana, and Cassie with her twins Blakely, and Bridger.
The Big Boys: Dillon, Caden, and Brecken (and Indy too)
Me and my boy. He had so much fun being wild and free.
We even had fairies come visit camp one night.
Cass organized some really fun Minute to win it games.
We went on several hikes during the week too.
And one day we went four wheeling. The boys had fun together.
Grandma playing go fish with some of the kids while they waited for their turns on the 4 wheelers.
We also celebrated the twins first birthday.
Caden and Dad
Dad and Taylor
Me and the Lou.
Gager and Aunt Sal (Cassie)
Lana was an animal. She wanted to go faster and over more bumps.
The babies were foaming at the mouth. They might have got rabies (or yogurt covered pretzels).
These animals liked being caged.
Such a fun trip, can't wait to go camping with them again next summer!
