After all the excitement with the basement flooding, Tuesday had it's own surprises. It was my turn to teach joyschool and I was so glad the boys didn't have fevers. The whole two hours of joyschool Caden was attached at my side and wailing. I couldn't figure out why he wouldn't stop crying. Later that afternoon I asked him to open wide so I could check on his molars coming in. To my surprise the roof of his mouth was covered in red spots. I checked Brecken out and sure enough he too had the spots. I called the nurse and she informed me they have hand, foot, mouth disease which happens to be highly contagious. Oh crud, I had 5 little kids at my house that morning for preschool.
So I made some phone calls and one of the other moms agreed to teach for me for Wed. Whew. Wed turned out nice, the boys were over the worst of it and we got to stay home and play and hang out all day. It was nice and relaxing after the first few days of the week!
