Joy School Graduation

Caden had his Joy School Graduation on Tuesday night.  He has loved Joy School.  Caden is a very social boy and always wants to be with other kids.  He will definitely miss school this summer.
The program was just about to start here.  The kids were getting ready.  Ari did such an awesome job with the program.  On the last day of joy school she had the kids make their own tie die shirts.  Such a great way to do it: you bunch up the shirt and rubber band it, then she let the kids color them with permanent markers.  To make the color stay she then squirted the shirst with rubbing alchohol.  They turned out so cute!
Here is the little procession to the porch which was their stage.
Each child got to pick their favorite song and they all sang it.  Caden's favorite song was Gunny Bag.  He did such a good job singing it out loud.  He is such a happy and fun lovin' boy.  Then he got to stand up and tell everyone about their favorite joy school activity.  Caden's favorite was going to the Tracy Aviary.  He did a great job standing up and telling us about it.  Some kids were shy and had a hard time but Caden sure didn't.  Looks like he'll be a great public speaker.  We were so proud of him.
I love this picture because it shows how the program was.  Three and four year olds trying to hold still but not quite managing it.  Olivia is looking a little sad, Caden is being silly enjoying being the center of attention, Miles is being distracted and trying to chat with Tasia, Tasia is trying to hide and Isabel is just hanging out.  We had such a great group of kids and moms this year.
Caden still being silly.  The kids are holding up their graduation certificates.  Each child also got an award certificate.  Caden got awarded "Most Determined".  In the goals unit his goal was to zip up his coat all by himself.  He worked really hard and learned to do it himself.
All about the cheese.
Branson loves showing off his baby girl.  I was so glad he was able to make it in time.  Good thing we started on Mormon standard time or he wouldn't have seen the program.  He had a last minute meeting with a client at 6:00 so he didn't make it home til 7:30.
After the program we enjoyed treats. The kids are all good friends and liked eating their treats together.
For the last few months of school the kids put together little "All About Me" books.  This picture is one of the pages.  This is Caden's drawing of himself.

I thought this one was really fun.  They interviewed Caden and wrote down what he said.  It was kind of funny because I was still pregnant when they did this and the mom that did was wondering if I had the baby already.
