Poor Caden, Poor Me

Yesterday was the day I was going to take a shower.  It was the number 1 priority on my to do list.  So, I got Lana down for a nap (she fell asleep in her swing in the kitchen) and the boys downstairs watching 'toons.  I told them I was going to shower and headed up.  I decided for Lana's safety sake I would move her to my bed and locked my bedroom door.

I proceeded to the shower and almost got all the way done without being interrupted.  While washing my hair I could hear the boys pounding on  my bedroom door.  So, I hurried and finished and wrapped up in  a towel.  Lana was still sleeping peacefully on my bed.  I opened the door and Caden was standing there sobbing his poor little heart out.  "What's wrong," I asked him.  "I'm crying," he told me.  "Why are you crying?" I asked.  "Because Lana's not in her bed," was his reply.  The poor little guy thought his baby sister went missing, he was so worried.  I showed him the baby sleeping on my bed and he felt much better.

Then both boys climb up on the bed and woke their sister to kiss her and hug her and bounce around her.  Meanwhile, I was still in a towel.  So I close myself in the closet to get dressed and Brecken wants to come in with me.  I convince him to stay out, get dressed, and try to save Lana from her adoring fans.  Two hours later I am clean and dressed with my hair mostly done (bangs not done and no makeup but hey I'll take what I can get!)

What a sweet story, your boys really do love Lana so much. They are going to be great protectors!
