A couple of weeks ago Eagle Mountain was having their Pony Express Days and included was a family fun bike race. Caden loves riding his bike and always wants to go on rides with me since I got a bike recently. I thought this little race would be fun for us.
Caden had a blast and did such a good job.
I looked on all the flyers and website trying to see how long of a ride it was and couldn't find it anywhere. I figured since it was being advertised as "fun" and "family friendly" it should be just fine. We showed up and found out it was a 10k (6.5 miles) and up to the top of Unity Pass (a mountain pass that splits the city into two parts) and back.
Caden was a ROCK STAR and made it without complaining and only having to walk part of the way up the pass. We are so proud of him!
We even got these spiffy medals for completing the race. I will treasure mine forever as a reminder of a special time me and my buddy shared. Ahhhh.
