Oh boy was I glad it all worked. Brans was able to work out his immigration case over the phone, so we headed out at about 11 am on Thursday!
Yes, we are on the road!
We went to stay at Brans' boss' cabin up by Brighton Ski Resort. Caden loved, loved, LOVED this place. I think mostly because it had a loft bedroom with a ladder leading up to it. He wanted to stay there forever.
Lana also loved the ladder. We had to watch her like a hawk because she could make it all the way up to the top.
This is the view from the loft. Such a nice place, we are totally blessed and spoiled we could use it for FREE.
The boys were so super thrilled, here they are unpacking. Brecken wanted to get his pajammies on he was so excited about the room and his own big bed.
After lunch and checking out the cabin we headed out for an afternoon in Park City which is in the next canyon over. So we drove on this dirt road right up and over the mountain. We really felt like we were on the top of the world.
First stop was the outlet stores so I could get some new running shoes. The second and most important stop was Ice Cream!
Then on to the theater to see Toy Story 3. The boys loved it! Lana was a pill. She wanted to run all over the theater. Luckily Branson took over and stood on the side with her. She fell asleep after about ten minutes and then we were all able to enjoy the show.
