How do You Watch General Conference?

Twice a year in our church (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) we get to hear messages directly from our Prophet and Apostles. There are so many people in the church that they put it on tv and people all over the world can watch it.

We usually go up to Grandma & pa's for conference but they were on a cruise this year. So we went to Uncle Moe & Aunt Ari's beautiful new home.

This is how the couples with no children watched conference:

This is how the children watched:

Those of us with children were the picture takers. Seriously though, it was a wonderful conference. These leaders are inspired of God and their messages were meaningful and impactful to my life.

After conference Uncle Moe pulled out his guitar and was jamming. We sang harmony with his song cellulite. Then Caden told us that he has songs in his head. Uncle Moe started playing his guitar for Caden to sing along to. We were all impressed at his improve, not bad for a kindergartener.

We just caught the tail end of it on video. He got a little embarrassed when he saw that we were recording him. Here it is:

Oh that is so great! I love the pictures! Our children were sicker than I've ever seen them over conference. The result was a really great conference experience. They were way too sick to be teasing each other or make much noise. I guess that was a nice silver lining to lots of throwing up for an entire week and hours of laundry.
