St. Patty's

On St. Patrick's Day this year we had a joy school field trip to Sweet's Candy Factory.

Lana was really in love with her fairy wings at this time so she wore them everywhere. Here is our little Irish Pixie:

This was most of the crew, we were just waiting for one more car to make it.

We had to wear these awesome hair nets! Lana did good at keeping hers on.

This is such a fun tour, you get to walk through the entire factory and sample all the different candies hot off the line. Who doesn't love that?

I made a special St. Patty's treat for after dinner. Looks pretty, right? It's vanilla pudding with mandaring oranges and pineapple. It was actually pretty disgusting. Branson was the only one that ate his.

All afternoon Caden was set on catching a leprechaun. He spent a few hours in the yard hunting and was pretty discouraged. I kept telling him to wait til Daddy got home. That Dad is a good leprechaun hunter and would help him.

After dinner we headed out in the front yard to find our little green man. We didn't catch him but we did find his gold!
