Caden had his first ever school field trip on May 4th. They went to the zoo.
I wasn't brave enough to be a chaperon while being 8+ months pregnant. So the kids and I decided to meet up with them at the zoo and tag along.
We got to the zoo at 10:30 and found out they were having lunch at 11. So we decided to go on a train ride and then meet up with Caden.
We had a couple of minutes before lunch to play on the playground too.
It was so fun having lunch with Caden and his buddies. I love that he loves to have us around! Don't grow up and be a teenager whose embarrassed of his mother, please.
After lunch all the first graders and ourselves went over to the playground for about an hour.
After Caden left to go to the bus we went to see a few animals. This gorilla was fun being right next to the glass.
Just don't ask what it was eating, eewww.
It was the perfect day for a zoo trip!
