The weekend after our N.C. trip we were just planning on hanging around home. It was gorgeous weather. Our good buddies the Bolinders invited us to shoot rockets at the park down the street.
The rocket launcher was hooked up to an air compressor so they shot really far, and she made a rocket for each kid. They would shoot them off and then the kids would run out in the field to bring them back.
Caden having a turn pushing the button to launch his rocket. They had fun for an hour or so til they all got overheated from running so much in the hot sun.
On Sat. Grandma & pa invited us to go 4-wheeling with them. They came out to a place called Five Mile Pass that is pretty close to where we live. The kids loved the helmets. When they weren't riding they would still where them and just run around making motor noises.
Lana going for a ride with Daddy. She thought it was great and kept asking to go "just one more time".
Brecken riding with Grandpa. One ride was enough for this silly guy.
Caden and Aunt Ari. Caden was so brave and loved it. He went on some wild rides with his dad too and then talked for the next week about how when he turns 15 he wants to drive one himself.
We had so much fun. I even took a very slow and boring to Caden ride around the parking lot.
Thanks G&G.
