Happy Saturday

We had such a great Sat. yesterday. My sweet husband let me sleep in (I slept in til 8:30-luxury). Then we had a quick cereal breakfast. Dad headed off to the park and I started some cinnamon rolls. Then the boys and I headed to the park too. It was still a little cold but not bad.

We got home and I rolled out the cinnamon rolls. Then time for haircuts, all three boys. I can't imagine having like 5 boys. It would take HOURS to cut the hair on all those heads. Then we had to have a picnic because Caden has been asking for a long time. So we picnicked out in the backyard. It wasn't extremely warm but the sun felt good.

Then I finished the rolls and it was nap time! The boys went down good but after an hour of laying in bed I had to give up. So I went and worked on the baby room a little. I was going to try and finish up the painting but we ran out of the blue tape for taping the baseboards & ceiling. I'll have to do that next Sat.

We played a little Rock Band, went to a primary program, and called it a day. It was so nice to have Daddy home for a whole day. It's been a while. Work has been really crazy for him lately, which is good in this bad economy. We just miss our daddy a bit. He's been working from about 7 am to between 7 and 7:30 pm. Even Fridays he usually will get home between 4 and 5 and yesterday it was 6:45. So, we really enjoyed our Sat. with Dad!
