Rag Quilt for Marli

My little brother Brant and his wife Amanda had their first baby in the middle of Feb. I was in the process of making a rag quilt for the baby (my first) but she was born three weeks early so it wasn't quite done by the time she was born. Little Marli was born at a whopping 4 lbs 14 oz (if I remember right) but quite healthy. Here she is with her Daddy- I love seeing daddies hold tiny baby girls so cute!

Here is the blanket. It was fun to make, I didn't have to be super technical with corners, etc and I love all the different pinks. Cutting the edges wasn't much fun- next time I'll buy the special scissors so my hands won't hurt so much.
