How does your garden grow?

I finally got my new camera! I am so loving it. I was playing with it this morning and finally took pictures of my flowers like I've been wanting to do for forever. I love this macro mode (close up). I also love flowers, I'm enjoying having my own flower garden.

A Lily: this is the lily's debut, it didn't come up last year.

Pansies- I remember always having pansies while I was growing up and wanted to have some of my own now. Plus I love that I can plant them early while there is still frost and have some flowers in early spring.

Petunia

Hardy Gardenia: this is a perennial I got as a transplant from my in-laws. It looked like it wasn't goint to make it last year but this year it came back with a vengeance. I love them (purple is my favorite color).

Hydrangea (snowball bush): This is the plant in the middle of the picture. I planted this one last year also and was afraid it wasn't going to make it. Luckily, it is doing really well this year and has grown a bunch. Hopefully I'll actually get some blossoms next year.

Pansy (bush?): these pansies actually survived the winter and have grown into some kind of bush. Kinda strange.

Alyssum

These do great in the shade. Sadly, I can't remember it's name.

Geranium: this is my first time planting a geranium so we'll see how it goes this summer.

The one you can't remember is an impatient-inpatient. Yeah. Sure.

I love the Lily. I actually love that name too, come to think of it. Your flowers look great.
