Lana's Blessing Day

Here is our little princess on her blessing day. She is becoming quite the smiler. She started smiling two or three weeks ago, so when she was just over a month old. She is starting to coo now too, we love it.

Sunday the 7th was Lana's blessing day. All of Branson's brothers and sisters came down (except Sally who lives in Wa- we missed you guys) and his parents and our good friends the Julanders.

In the LDS church the father gives the baby a blessing when they are one or two months old. It was a sweet blessing. We are so glad Brans has the priesthood. Then we all came back to our house for soup and Britt's yummy homemade bread and Karies famous pecan bar cookies. It looked stormy all day but the sun peeked out for our lunch. We had a nice time visiting with every one.

Here is Karie (grandma) with Lana. She keeps telling us that baby girls are pretty but Lana is BEAUTIFUL. I think she's enjoying her first girl granddaughter.

Caden is super obsessed with trucks, especially grandpa's red truck. We had to get a picture of him with it.

I wanted a picture with the back of Lana's dress. My Nana actually bought this dress for my mom to use for all of her daughters. So this is the dress I was blessed in and all my sisters. My older sister Julie also blessed all of her baby girls in it. I've had it since I was pregnant with Brecken so I was very excited to finally get to use it.

I had to put this picture up because it's such a funny face. She must be a member of this family because I see the silly gene coming out.
