We wanted to go camping a few weeks ago but didn't really have enough time. It would be a really hectic trip if we had waited for Brans to get home at 6. By the time we would drive somewhere and set up camp it would be time to go to bed. So we decided to have a campout in our backyard.
We started things off with a little BBQ, chicken for me and the pa, and hot doggies for the boys. Next up- roasting mallows, of course!
It was kind of bright outside, hence the squinting.
Brecken liked his warm gooey mallow, but one roasted was enough. He wanted the rest straight from the bag.
I'm not quite sure how a two year olds' mind works. Sitting in the swing with his mallows all lined up must have sounded pretty fun to him.
We tried to play a game of kickball. It seemed just a bit too complex for the boys still. They didn't quite grasp the running around bases part. They just wanted to chase the ball. Here is our lovely sunset.
Putting up the tent was the part Caden was most excited for. He asked every five minutes, "Is it time to put up the tent yet?"

I love it! Bud looks so thin! I loved the picture of Breck with marshmallows all over his face! What a creative family outing. We did that once, but we set it up inside and watched scary movies from inside the tent!
That's so cute!! I love it! Brecken is suck a funny dude with the mallows.
