A 5K in My Backyard

This was a fun run for several reason:
1. I got my best time yet: approx 29min (they didn't tell us the exact time but the girls that came in after me said their time was 29)
2. It was in my backyard, practically- Brans stood at the end of our driveway to take the pics
3. 100% of the proceeds went to buying books for the library at Caden's school
4. It was the Eagle Scout project of a boy in our ward so it was nice getting to support him
5. I got some awesome coupons for free food
6. I was home from the race by 9 am
7. It only cost me $10!
Overall a fun race. My next race will be a 5K on Oct. 16th. I am making a cake, as well as runnin, for Pres. Hughes for whom this race will benefit. He is in our Stake Presidency and has brain cancer and no insurance. Everyone should come participate! It will be awesome.
