Splitting Up

Our lives are getting switched up a bit right now. Our ward is splitting. Well, more accurately the ward next to us split and they took a little slice off of our ward (including us) to put with it. So we are now part of the new Stonecreek 11th ward.

Sun. evening we had a special meeting where they announced the split to everyone. After that they set apart the new Bishopric which includes Branson as he is the Executive Secretary. So the work has begun. This Sunday we will meet with our new ward in a new building at a new time. We are excited to make new friends but still have our old friends to play with here in the neighborhood.

I've already felt the blessings rolling in. Monday night we had a little dinner at the Bishop's home to get to know everyone in the Bishoprice. Tues. night the men met from 7-11pm. Last night was 7-10pm and hopefully tonight will just be 7-9pm. They have a lot of callings to fill - as in Everything! Despite not seeing Branson much I've been keeping it together pretty well. I know the Lord's blessing me with more patience and energy and the kids have been acting a lot better as well.

We are excited for a little new adventure in our lives!
